Gettin' back in the swing!

Wow!  I have not posted one thing in forever and I am super sorry to my ten readers!!!  Since I last posted a ton of things have been going on in my life.  Tons!  First off.....We are going to be grandparents again!!!  My sweet Megan and Thad are going to have another baby in November.  We will find out what the baby is next week and I cannot wait.  Finley will be the sweetest big brother.  Megan kind of wants another boy but would love a baby girl too.  The Lord knows what is best and He knows I will be crazy about whichever!!  The second big news is......I got to retire from the school system this year!!  Hear that????  It is angels singing!!  I was so ready to be done and this was such an answer to prayer!  I have had so many people ask me what I was going to do and was I going to be bored.  The answer is.....I have tons to do and I am never really bored.  I can find way too much to entertain myself.  I have about 30000 hours of office work to catch up on for my husband.  Both sets of our parents are alive and well but occasionally need some help with this and that and now I can do that whenever they need me too and not when I can squeeze it in.  I can spend more time with my husband, my kids and my grand kids.  But most of all I already feel the stress of that job fleeing my mind and soul.  It is very hard to explain but my job was very stressful and very hard on me physically.  When I started there were 8 full time ladies and the work was evenly split.  When I left there was one full time worker and that was me!  Even split??  Not on your life.  I also get to keep my health insurance at no cost to me and that in today's world is pure gold.  I do plan on subbing in the classroom next year and I can say no when I want to for that.  I can now go places with my husband and not have to worry about asking off and all that junk!!  In other news, my oldest grand daughter, Piper,  asked to be baptized last Sunday and it was so sweet.  It just makes me so grateful and so proud of her and the decision to follow Jesus.  She has grown so much in the Lord this past year.  she started her version of a Bible study in school.  she said they were going to do it on the whole New Testament!  Set some goals, girl!!!  Her 2nd grade teacher is a Christian and had no problem with that at all.  Piper did witness to several children in her class and was so active in our schools Bible Club.  I am so grateful that these things are allowed and all you really have to do is ask.....the worst thing anyone can ever tell you is , No.   I have all kinds of little things happening every day that I have just let slip by.  I think I am going to remember them but here I sit....and I don't.  But I do have some summer goals:

1.  Teach Brooks to swim and Finley to jump and go under on his own
2.  Get my house organized and my stuff all unpacked
3.  Get my office under control and my accounting books in order
4.  Replace all the photos in the house with some updated ones
5.  Redecorate the living room of my house

These things to start.  But good grief, this is enough to keep me busy for months.  I do promise to not let this much time go by again.  I just got to get back in the swing again!!
