Just a Treat, Please

Hey Y'all,

Have you ever seen a cuter Strawberry?? I mean, really people...I would pick this one from the patch every single time.

Oh, the torture we put our children through for memories. May this cycle never be broken!!

Babies & Dogs

Here is a short video of my sweet little Piper and my horribly obnoxious dog. My mother is tickling the baby to get her to laugh. In our family we affectionately call this "Torture Time" My dog Penny is too nosy for her own good!

My Favorite Song....Period

This is my all-time, hands down, favorite song in the world. It explains the Christian walk (for me) better than anything else. I sing this song daily. Daily. I even have it on a baby praise cd for Piper and play it for her. I have already told several friends (Kelley, Tracy, Sandra) that I want this sang at my funeral. Preferably by Chris Tomlin or Jeremy Camp. Get a kleenex and sit back and just worship.

Old Girls Still Got It!!!

Hey Y'all,

This past Friday night was my old high schools' Homecoming Game. It is a very big deal around these parts. Everyone looks forward to all the festivities of the week. We have a powder puff football game where the Junior girls play football against the senior girls. A mock homecoming court which is hilarious and of course football players dress up as cheerleaders for the powder puff game. Fun times. When my Megan was a Senior she escorted "Matt-ilda" on the mock court. Her "girl" won the crown and Megan "MegaHouse" was the homecoming King. Too funny. This year they asked the alumni cheerleaders if they would like to cheer for a quarter of the game. They had a huge response. My girls and my niece all cheered. The had a great time and they did an awesome job. Some of these old girls had 3 kids and had not cheered for a long time. Honestly, they were super. Here are a few photos.

My girls are the back row. Erica, Brittany and Megan.

Megan's best childhood friends. Ashton, Anna and my Megan.

My two sweet girls. I miss these days!!!!

My three girls!! Erica, Brittany and Megan.

Family Wedding

Hey Y'all,

This past weekend my cousin, Heather, got married to a super guy, Alex. It was a small family wedding that I got to direct. She was the sweetest, most nervous bride I have seen in a while. Below are a few photos I took. Enjoy!

My sweet mom and dad!

Pumpkin Patch

Hey Y'all,

Last week Blake and Erica took Piper to a local pumpkin patch to take her picture. She of course is too little to realize how pretty the autumn season even is around here. She looked really cute though!

She is not impressed at first.

Starting to warm up to the idea of being at the Pumpkin Farm

I don't think I like hay bales!

Two Months Old!

Hey Y'all,

My little Piper is two months old! I can't believe she is already so big. She went for her two month check-up yesterday and she weighed in at 10 lbs and 10 oz and 22 inches long. Poor little thing got two shots. It is so sad to see them cry over their shots. They just don't understand why in the world anyone would hurt them! I got to keep her this afternoon for the first time since Erica returned to work this week. She was so good. She drank a bottle and slept for two and half hours. Hopefully she will be in a really good mood for her mommy and daddy the rest of the evening. It is just such a joy having her in the house in the afternoons. I am just so thankful that I get to help out with this little angel.

She is getting to be the same size as her frog!

Cindy

Almost There...

Hey Y'all,

I am so sorry that I have been absent as of late but about a bazillion things have been going on. First my computer is working again!!! Except I cannot download pictures from my camera. I have some new virus/spyware protection so I think it is just a recognition problem. I have a ton of new pictures of Miss Piper to share. Also, several things have been going on in my house. I have some new "extreme home makeover" pics too. This is what my updates have turned into. I have found out (the hard way) that in older homes nothing, and I mean nothing, is up to code anymore. It also does not fit with any new hardware whatsoever. I have had a pipe burst in my basement and I am thanking God that my contractor and his helper was here to find it or I would be swimming in my living room. Major mess. Major. But this did force me to clean out some junk that was taking up space that I thought I couldn't live without. I have found out that I can live. As a matter of fact I am breathing right now. It is amazing what you really can live through. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to upload some pictures for you to look at. I have a really sweet one of Megan and Piper. Megan just loves that little baby to pieces. I actually found a photo of Megan when she was about 3 months old and Piper looks a tremendous amount like her! I thought she was a mirror image of her mommy but she really looks like her beautiful Aunt Megan. Either way she is just gorgeous. Oh brother, I sound so obnoxious. I apologize but I do have some pretty amazing little ladies in my life. Tomorrow is Erica's first day back at work. She is nervous but also she loves her job and is excited too. Megan has her fall break this week and I am thrilled to have her come home for more than 5 minutes. She has four huge tests in three days so overwhelmed is an understatement. Have a wonderful night!!

Bless Y'all,

Cindy
