I'm Just Sayin'.....

Hey Y'all,

I hope everyone is having a good week. Mine has been like a wild rapid ride this week to say the least. I'm just sayin'.

First off, Jack Bauer is the MAN! I want to marry him. Not Keifer Sutherland, Jack Bauer. I could kick myself three times for never ever watching this show until this season. I have no excuse whatsoever. Now it is the last season and I am totally addicted. I, for one, am thrilled he shot Dana. Twice. I'm just sayin'...

This Sunday is Mother's Day. This is one of my favorite holidays. I love my mother and I do hope each of you have a great mother to love or remember with a bunch of lovely memories. At school all the kids are making flower pots with sad little marigolds in them that they have touched one time too many. Handmade cards that have hearts all over them addressed to their mom's. In the south most of these moms have huge hairbows on their heads. I really don't know why. Most of the children do have wonderful mommies. But some, do not. It breaks you hearts to hear them say that their mommy doesn't hug them or shower them with kisses each night or really ever even see their children. So sad. Makes me wish even more that I was Mrs. Jack Bauer. I'm just sayin...

Tonight is my favorite tv show in the world. Well, maybe not my favorite in the world but I do love it. American Idol. Woo-Hoo Crystal Bowersox!!! I hope she wins. Tonight their mentor is Harry Connick Jr. Love him! I play his Christmas Cd's year round. They are the best ones to play at Christmas. Right up there with Elvis. I'm just sayin'...

Lastly, I promised that since my sweet beagle, Hunter, passed away a few weeks ago that I would never, ever, ever get another animal. Dog, cat, fish, bird or rodent. Not even a pet rock. I am adopting my daughter's dog Penny, the fence-jumping deer impersonator. Erica has come home from work several days in a row and hauled her little pregnant self all over her neighborhood to look for Penny. Last night she was crying and telling me that she really could not keep doing this. She was sure one day she would drive up to their development and Penny would be run over in the street. I have over two acres and have a dog lot and have two dog houses and even have an invisible fencing system with two collars. Penny gets to live with me. So I can feed her, take her to the vet, bathe her, talk to her...love her....cry like a crazy woman when she dies....promise I will never, ever, ever get another pet...ever. I'm just sayin'...
